Stefan Hollands is the founder and principal consultant of Short Term Consulting, bringing over 20 years of hands-on experience across every layer of the short-term rental ecosystem. His career spans property management, STR investment, vendor strategy, and operational consulting — giving him a rare, 360-degree perspective on what it actually takes to succeed in this industry.
Stefan has built and scaled property management companies from the ground up, managed hundreds of short-term rental units across multiple markets, and advised dozens of STR vendors on go-to-market strategy, sales execution, and customer retention. He has underwritten STR investment deals ranging from single-family vacation homes to multi-unit urban portfolios — and has the scars to prove it.
What sets Stefan apart is his refusal to separate strategy from execution. He doesn't hand clients a framework and walk away — he works alongside them to implement, iterate, and measure. His engagements are built around real outcomes: more revenue, leaner operations, stronger teams, and sustainable growth.
